In the month of may....

It's time for a In the month of_____-fill in the blank- post!

In the month of May I went on a road trip.with these crazy fun people.
sat in three traffic jams in three different states.drove in six states.
saw the Great Smoky Mountains for the first time.
met Mariah for the first time ever in life, and the baby in her belly. :)
built a fort.saw a bear. A REAL one.

met my new niece.spent a whole weekend with Blue.planted a garden with a little help.
(little as in boy AND dog)
and learned my brother was deployed to Iraq.

And many, many, many other things.
(a police escort, Dollywood, celebrity sightings, kid wrangling, sightseeing, gardening and landscaping, babysitting etc etc etc)

Did anyone else blink and the month was over??

Well, I missed it.

January 11th one year ago I started bloggin and I totally missed it. lol
oh well.

My nephew is in town today while his mommy and daddy are meeting the new oncologist in the big city. Fingers crossed that his labs come back and it hasn't spread in these last 2 1/2 months that he's had to go without chemo (because he was becoming so violently ill) and that they can start him on another treatment plan quickly.

The baby learned something new, he puts his lil face up to his mommy's belly and says - hi baby. hi baby. He's going to be a great big brother. :)
